Restoration & barn conversion of thatched cottage

Purchased as a wreck, a retired farming couple took me on to renovate the cottage and convert the attached barn to be included in the enlarged family home. Traditional elements were to be retained where possible with the client keen to employ crafts once used in the original build.
Internally, we achieved large room sizes where previously they were uncomfortably small, resulting in a spacious, comfortable and characterful home.
