New Exmoor farmhouse on green-field site.

New Exmoor farm-house and garage/work-shop constructed on a green-field site to the tight space limitations imposed by Exmoor National Park planning authority. The design utilised a combination of devices to maximise the sense of space within. The outcome is a spacious feeling house which provides for the needs of a growing family.

Stylistically, the planners required the look of a traditional Exmoor farmhouse while the young family were seeking to achieve a contemporary aesthetic. The blend resulted in an outcome with which they are very happy.
